Friday Links: Sign Language Edition
I’m a sucker for charming short films, and this one certainly takes the cake. Sign Language – I voted for it and last I checked it had a substantial lead.

Friday Links: Scootaloo Edition
How did I not hear about this when it was happening? This is the greatest musical ever made! I need to get one of those suits. I was going to be Cookie Monster for halloween one of these years but I think that dream has been replaced.

Friday Links: Greenscreen Edition
This week’s link of the week is one of the most interesting videos I’ve seen in a while. It demonstrates the multiple uses of green screen in regular situations. It’s amazing how the most trivial things are replaced. I suppose that just shows how far computer graphics technology has come; it’s cheaper to fill in backgrounds with CGI even when it’s just a regular city street.

Friday Links: Raptacular Edition
Anybody who knows me would know that I love old school action films. We’re talking about the Terminator / Commando / Robocop generation of action films. I didn’t really think the films themselves could be improved upon. But then they get their Rap tributes. Some sort of Rap Opera, or Rapsploitation. I approve.

Friday Links: Jarts Edition
The Onion strikes again … or should I say ’struck’ considering this gem is from 2000. I thought it deserved a second look. Damn kids and their toys.

This kitten got what for. Obseve the rare hunter parrot in his natural environment. If this was a real hunt and not a simulation, no one would ever see the cat again. Fortunately for him, it’s a test run.

Epic. I don’t even know what this is, but it’s amazing. AMAZING. You want your kid to be a scientist when he/she/it grows up? Show them this photo series. Retroactive Nobel prize for awesomeness.

Friday Links: Fever Edition
Here we are in the first week of the new year. Does the internet still stack up or did its quality fall off a cliff post 2009? You be the judge.
Hilarious man knows how to clear out a cafe or park. How did I not think of this? I haven’t figured out how to make money off this yet, but there has to be some way. Also, less funny is the behind the scenes video where the other guy on the phone actually shows up and beats the wrong people to death.

Friday Links: Thursday Edition
Friday Links on Thursday? Outrageous! Believe me, I’m as disappointed in myself as you all are. This kicks off some fun Holiday festivities, however, which include a break until the New Year as I travel to the vast wasteland known as Boston. Read on for The Dirty Dozen, Gay Thug Dating and some crazy WiiWaa shit (I don’t understand it either).
Then get ready for 2010. We’ll kick it off with the games you should be anticipating, and then return to your normal programming (all horse pornography all the time). read more
